Is daylight saving time handled?
Yes — conversions use your browser's built-in IANA time zone database, the same one your operating system uses. A meeting set for 15:00 in London converts correctly whether the date falls in GMT or BST.
Why do some conversions change the date?
Large offsets cross midnight: 20:00 Monday in Los Angeles is already 09:00 Tuesday in Tokyo. The result always shows the full date and weekday so there's no ambiguity.
What's the best time for an international meeting?
Convert your proposed time into every participant's zone and aim for everyone's 08:00–18:00. For US ↔ Europe that window is usually early US morning; for US ↔ Asia there's often no overlap, so someone takes an evening call.
