The short version

Everything you type into a ProgramTalk tool stays in your browser. We never see, store, transmit, or log the content you work with. The only third-party services on this site are advertising and, potentially, basic anonymous analytics — described below.

Data you enter into tools

All tools on ProgramTalk.com (formatters, converters, generators, counters) run entirely client-side in JavaScript. The text, code, files, or data you enter are processed in your browser's memory and are never uploaded to our servers or any third party. Closing the page discards everything.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements, which keeps the site free. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Server logs

Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. These are not linked to tool content — tool content never reaches the server — and are automatically rotated.

Cookies we set ourselves

None. ProgramTalk sets no first-party cookies and uses no local storage for tracking.

Children's privacy

This site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
