Date Difference Calculator
Count the days between two dates — with a breakdown into years, months and days, total weeks, and working days (Monday–Friday).
About this calculator
The total is the exact number of calendar days between the two dates, computed in UTC so daylight-saving changes never make a day count off by one. "Include the end date" adds one day — useful for durations like hotel stays or rental periods where both the first and last day count. Working days counts Mondays through Fridays only; public holidays vary by country and aren't excluded.
Frequently asked questions
Is the end date included by default?
No. From January 1 to January 31 is 30 days by default (the difference), or 31 with "include the end date" ticked (the span).
How is the years/months/days breakdown computed?
Calendar-aware: it advances whole years, then whole months, then days — so Feb 28 to Mar 28 is exactly 1 month whether or not it's a leap year.
Can I calculate my age with this?
Yes — set your birth date as the start and today as the end. There's also a dedicated Age Calculator with next-birthday details.
