How the count works
Counting between two dates includes both endpoints when they're weekdays — Monday to Friday of the same week is 5 business days. Adding N business days starts counting from the next day: 1 business day after Friday is Monday.

Are public holidays excluded?
No — holidays differ by country, region and even industry, so this tool counts Monday–Friday only. Subtract any holidays that fall in your range.
Why do "5 working days" deliveries take a week?
Five business days spans seven calendar days whenever a weekend sits inside the range — order on Monday and the fifth working day is the following Monday if there's a holiday, otherwise Friday… unless the seller starts counting the day after dispatch, which most do.
What if the start date is a weekend?
In counting mode, weekend endpoints simply don't count. In add mode, counting starts from the first weekday after the start date.
