Frequently asked questions
How do I use this for a race plan?
Choose "solve for pace", enter the race distance and your goal time, and you get the pace to hold. Most runners aim for even or slightly negative splits — second half no slower than the first.
What's the difference between pace and speed?
Pace is time per distance (5:00 min/km); speed is distance per time (12 km/h). Runners think in pace because watches show it and race math is easier; this tool shows both.
